Happy Valley School Alumnus Jim McHugh ’66 Showcases Art at Art on Paper, NYC September 7-10
Renowned Happy Valley School alumnus Jim McHugh ’66 is making waves in the art world at the Art on Paper-New York City art fair. Represented by Timothy Yarger Fine Art, McHugh’s exhibit features captivating portraits of the iconic David Hockney. A fortuitous phone call to David Hockney one afternoon has blossomed into a cherished friendship spanning over four decades between Jim and David.
Jim is celebrated for his celebrity portraits and investigative features in People Magazine and Vanity Fair and has garnered numerous awards for his photography. His work is proudly displayed in prestigious collections, including The Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Walker Art Center, and The Polaroid Collection.
